The Nordic payment market is one of the most advanced and efficient in the world. In a collaboration between the six largest Nordic banks, where Swedbank and the Savings Banks are one, we are planning to introduce additional improvements in the payments area. By building a common Nordic clearing infrastructure, the ambition is to provide increased possibilities to faster, safer and easier payments. The outcome can be used by all Nordic banks.  

What is P27 NPP?

P27, which stands for Payments and our 27 million Nordic inhabitants, is a corporation owned by the six largest Nordic banks. The main purpose of P27 is building a modern clearing platform which is able to promote trade within and among the Nordic countries.
